Currently I am mostly into geospatial python, GIS and point clouds.
For more than a decade, I was mostly geologist, writer and editor. I studied geosciences in Freiburg (Germany) and did some research on exotic alkaline rocks at the university Tübingen. Since then, I wrote several books and edited many geology text books written by other authors. When Artificial Intelligence started to take over in the publishing sector, I studied Geoinformation M.Sc. at the Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT). Landscape photography is my “serious hobby”. I love mountains and I blog about my travels.
